INTERVENTION DESCRIPTION:
Safety coordination during the design and execution phase of the monumental complex of the former State Printing Office.
The monumental complex of the Ex Istituto del Poligrafico di Stato occupies an entire block in the historic center of Rome and is the subject of a substantial redevelopment project, which included the restoration of the monumental facades and above all huge structural consolidation works that involved an excavation under the whole. a wing of the block, for a length of 150 m and a height of 6 meters which led to the discovery of the historical foundations. Demolitions were also carried out for a height of 30 meters of entire staircases for new layout requirements. The intervention also involved the installation of 4 cranes and provides for the raising of the building for approximately two floors based on a project by the architect Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel.
